Quote to Live By: “The Lord always gives his best to those who leave the choice to Him.”

"Claudia Chappell is definitely a "Woman You Should Know." She has remained active and involved even after serious medical procedures that cause many people to lose independence. As a retired nurse she divides her time between volunteering at Cayuga Medical Center and singing with Seven Valley Chorus of Sweet Adelines.
In addition to the chorus she also sings bass in Barbershop Dot Com Quartet as they bring joy and harmony to groups like the Newfield Senior Citizens, the Salvation Army, nursing home residents, and fund raise for area groups such as Tompkins County Friends of the Library.
She has been working on developing a support group for amputees (she is one). Her attitude is always positive and she keeps her friends on their toes as well. Claudia has served more than one term as president of Cayuga Medical Center's Volunteers. She brings smiles and laughter to those who work with her and to the public she interacts with. Please elect her as one of Tompkins County's "20 Outstanding Women for 2010"
